What others say (Submit
your Review): The Norwegian Star has a separate card room with a
generous number of attractive card tables and chairs. Numerous windows
on the 12th floor near the aft provide a great view of the sea with
excellent lighting for playing cards, but would limit the ability of a
Bridge Director from using slides, PowerPoint, or overheads during the
daylight hours. Our Bridge Teacher made good use of the easel during
presentations. The card room on the Norwegian Star was quiet with
properly adjusted air conditioning, providing a very pleasant ambience.
Yet on this 10 day cruise of the Mexican Riviera, Bridge was not a very
popular activity on the Norwegian Star (only a few tables of Duplicate
Bridge and a few more social Bridge tables). The level of play was
typical of a social Bridge game and the Bridge Teacher taught at the level
of an advanced beginner level. The Norwegian Star staff were very
helpful and generous, happy to give out pack of NCL playing cards to
players. At 3:00 PM, the Norwegian Star crew freely brought
everyone delicious refreshments |
